Introduction to Graphic Design
Objective
Entirely redesign the packaging of an item valued at less than $5
(Celestial Seasoning’s Honey Vanilla Chamomile Herbal Tea)
Process
→ Chose packaging dielines that would simplify the retrieval of the teabags for the consumer but could be re-tucked over and over to keep the exposed teabags fresher for longer (these aren’t individually wrapped teabags like other competitors)
→ Added illustrative elements, such as the bear or the logo, to make the product feel more approachable
→ Went with a more eye-catching color palette to grab consumers
